image(99k) Many times light is added to a scene in order to shoot it for video, that's not the case in Israel. The large white object works as a screen to lessen the intensity of the sun. Producer David Rotterman sits in to help videographer Cec Barton check the lighting.

image(132k) Food brought in from the Kibbutz, is set out at the site for the excavators. Meals were always kosher and consisted of yogurts, cheeses, fruits and vegetables. Starting work as early 6 in the morning and ending at 1 to avoid the hottest part of the day, breakfast at 9 seemed like lunch to some.

image(99k) Using everything from pick axes and shovels to dental tools and paint brushes to carefully remove the dirt, the Bethsaida volunteers never know what artifacts they might find.
