image(83k) A coin featuring the head of Demetrius II dating from 129-128 BCE. 28-29.5mm in size. Demetrius was a ruler in the Seleucid Empire.

image(83k) Livia - Julia Statuette. First Century CE. Wife of Augustus Caesar. Philip Herod changed the name of Bethsaida to Julias in honor of her in the year 30 CE.

image(66k) A silver coin from Athens dating from 450 BCE. This is one of the oldest coins found at Bethsaida.

image(66k) Paetakos statuette. Egyptian fertility god first described by Theodotus. The statuette was found in the area of the Iron Age Temple Palace Complex.

image(83k) Intact juglet with aligned stripes on one side. This piece dates to the Iron Age.
